Written by Michael John Garcés, Magic Fruit is a joyful and visually inventive adaptation of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, created to engage young and multi-generational audiences through a fresh cultural lens. Performed in both English and Spanish, this reimagined production blended puppetry, live performance, and digital projection to tell a vibrant story of courage, friendship, and finding one’s voice.


Sean Cawelti served as Video Designer, helping to shape a hybrid performance environment that was both accessible and artistically rich. His work bridged cinematic visuals with expressive, story-driven design, supporting a dynamic and inclusive retelling of a beloved classic.
